Although both radiology and medical imaging are perceived same, there is a little difference between them. Both are part of a wider discipline of biological imaging, which aims to incorporate both the fields to diagnose and treat diseases. Medical imaging involves imaging techniques such as X-Ray, MRI and more to get the image of internal body structures. On the other hand, radiology is the field to read and interpret those images for diagnosis and treatment.
