Am I required to register my facility if my facility manufactures/processes human food that results in human food by-products that we pack or hold for processing by another facility that manufactures/processes animal food?
Yes. Your facility is required to register because you manufacture/process, pack, or hold food for
consumption by humans and animals in the United States. There is not a separate registration
process for human and animal food.
