If a data entry were missed, not done directly after performing the activity, is noted and corrected subsequently, i.e. the next day, would you expect a deviation report, in addition?

It is important to know what kind of data we’re talking about, but you’ve probably got to have
someone in Quality look at what you’re doing (i.e., what it is you’re putting in later). So, first, what
it is; and second, how do you know that’s the correct number the next day? Typically, that would
be written up in the format of a deviation, because then you could have all the signatures on the
appropriate page.
