Must I register my facility as a warehouse if we only hold food for a short period of time (i.e., a few hours to one day before food is transported)?

There is no timeframe (maximum or minimum) associated with holding. Consequently, a facility
that holds food for consumption in the United States is not exempt from food facility registration
requirements based on how long it holds food.
