Yes, but more than likely when the employee is pregnant the doctor will typically take her off work for at least 2 – 6 weeks before having the baby. So that is PDL and FMLA prior to having the baby. Depending on whether it is a C-section or a normal birth, it will be 6-8 weeks after the baby is born that the employee is still considered disabled because of pregnancy. That will be again PDL or FMLA. After the 6-8 weeks postpartum disability is over then she will be on CFRA and will get 12 weeks for baby bonding.
