This is not specifically addressed by Q7A. Section 8.1 states that “actual yields should be
compared with expected yields at designated steps in the production process. Expected yields
with appropriate ranges should be established based on previous laboratory, pilot scale, or
manufacturing data”. Previous data may be your development data or it may be for processes
that you’ve been running in the plant for a number of years, it’s your historical plant data.
