In the CCSG, the Data Tables are intended to provide “standard cancer center information” in a manner that’s easily consumable for reviewers. As the P30 grants and reviews continue to change, so has the formatting for the Data Table 2A report in the newly released FOA. The guidance available from OCC is currently intended for competing applications. In the past, Data Table 2A was organized into 4 separate tables to distinguished both research projects (peer-reviewed and non-peer-reviewed) and training awards (peer-reviewed and non-peer-reviewed).
In the new guidance, centers are to report their training awards as a separate table that is included as part of the new component, “Cancer Research Career Enhancement and Related Activities.” As highlighted during the webinar, for grants that are not 100% cancer-related, Centers now list the entire direct cost of the project, and then provide the amount of the grant that is cancer-relevant. These, and a few additional changes, are highlighted in the resources available on the OCC website. Refer to the “Data Table Guides and Other Information” section.
