No, I have seen everywhere from 3 to 103. Remember the more you have the more you are going to maintain on the slide but there is no recommended amount. Keep in mind that the more POU drops you have the more potential concurrent users you have so the more impact on water flow and water pressure. More users will exacerbate the situation with large number of outlets so there are other design issues that are associated with if you have river frequency drive pumps that will ramp up as pressure drop is sensed at the end of the loop because outlets are openly being used. In such a scenario you can accommodate to some extent as the pressure drop is just ramping up the modem on a pump and pumping at the higher velocity at the front end and so it is easily self-correcting. It is pretty typical to have some more in the 20, 30 max outlets and I have seen much more extensive systems but when you have extensive systems you need booster pumps and equipment like that so there is an engineering limitation on it.
