Q7A is not specific on this issue. Section 6.5 says that appropriate time should be recorded for
significant steps. That’s one of the reasons that your production and your quality group should be
involved in the initial approval of your master production instruction. There are steps that the time
matters on, there are other steps that the time doesn’t matter on, and that’s a decision you need
to make for each particular process.
