Release authority for intermediates can be delegated to production except for intermediates that are sold, what about intermediates that are shipped within companies within the same corporation?

It reads, “APIs and intermediates can be transferred under quarantine to another unit
under the company’s control when authorized by the quality unit (s), and if appropriate controls
and documentation are in place.” So as long as it’s still in the same corporation or a
subcontractor, its foreseeable that production could release intermediates provided this is
authorized by the quality unit.
