What was EWG’s thinking along the lines of consumable items such as inline filters, O – rings and gaskets? Is there an expectation that they are treated as job aids or equipment?

It would be reasonable to regard them as part of the equipment and include these in the
equipment change control procedure. If you exchange these items and they have a different
composition, different material, they can have a significant impact on the intermediate or API.
