In response to the court settlement reached by FDA in a lawsuit filed by consumer groups concerning dates for
finalizing the FSMA-related food and feed safety rules, deadlines have been established for issuing the major
FSMA-related final rules. The table on the following page indicates the deadlines for issuing final rules, along with
the proposed compliance timeframes for covered facilities/entities.
