A road journey across the USA is an adventure of a lifetime. Some of the coolest scenic views in the world can be found here, and all you need to start exploring them include a map, a nice playlist, and four-wheelers. From Route 66 to the Pacific Coast Highway, the routes you choose make a road trip, so sit back and enjoy the ride.

Starting in Seattle, famed for its rain, you’ll be relieved to know that the weather here will not set the tone for the remainder of your journey as you seek the sun. Driving south, you’ll travel 1,476 miles through two states as you make your way along the Pacific Coast. The sun is rising…

First stop- Seattle

Get your grunge fix in Seattle, Kurt Cobain’s hometown. The city, which is surrounded by forests and mountains, is famed for its dive pubs and hipster hangouts, which stand in stark contrast to the scenic surroundings. Make time to see the Space Needle, an iconic landmark, and Pike Place Market, a more than 100-year-old farmer’s market.

Second stop-Mount Rainier National Park

After you’ve had your fill of urban fun in Seattle, a couple of hours drive will bring you to Mount Rainier National Park, an active volcano. The region around the volcano, which stands 14,410 feet above sea level, is stunning, teeming with fauna and meadows – something you must see.

Third stop- Napa Valley

Napa Valley in northern California is the ideal area to sample some wine, which is rumoured to be the best in the world (according to locals) – so make your own mind up. Explore wineries, fine dining establishments, or even ride the Wine Train for an Instagram-worthy experience.

Fourth stop- San Francisco

When you arrive to the Bay Area’s shores, prepare to take it all in, as you’ll witness the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, the image of a million postcards – now one of the modern world’s seven wonders, with 1.7 miles of suspension.

Fifth stop: Big Sur

As you travel out from San Francisco, the Californian coast is a great location to stop and breathe in some fresh air. It’s a 17-mile trip down the rough coastline to enjoy the natural splendour of the vivid blue water.

 Sixth stop- Santa Barbara

Santa Barbara is a really one-of-a-kind blend of California cool and Colonial Spanish heritage. Instagrammers will enjoy photographing the Santa Ynez Mountains, which frame the city. Take some time to soak in the relaxed atmosphere of the city before proceeding to your final destination.

Seventh stop- San Diego

While San Diego is famous for its zoo, it has much more to offer than simply animals. Sandy beaches, museums, gardens, and walking tours make it ideal for families, while visitors over the age of 21 will enjoy the vibrant nightlife.

Whatever route you Go through, the United States has the ideal road trip for you. You’ll make beautiful memories that will last a lifetime, from natural wonders to offbeat sights you never realised you needed to see. Enjoy Your Road trip!
